Arena lands two city BOBS bonuses
BOBS stallion Arena produced two
metropolitan BOBS Bonus winners in the space of four days
following victories by Impatient Star (on Saturday) and Rena's
Lady (Wednesday).
Impatient Star is now one of the leading BOBS earners with $70,000
in bonuses after three wins at Randwick and one at Warwick Farm.
Rena's Lady broke her maiden status when she revelled in the slow
conditions to score a resounding 6.5 length win at Warwick Farm
during the week.
Two other gallopers joined Impatient Star as $20,000 bonus winners
at Randwick last Saturday.
Goldlago (by Encosta de Lago) maintained her unbeaten record with
a game win from another BOBS performer, For Action. And four races
later Capanna (Quest for Fame) netted his first BOBS Bonus when a
narrow winner.
There were four other BOBS Bonus winners on the same afternoon:
Redoute's Magic (Redoute's Choice) & Swat (Strategic) at
Newcastle, and Oakland County (Octagonal) & Future Funds (Secret
Savings) at Grafton.
BOBS has now given away $4.26million in bonuses since the start of
the 2005-06 racing season, with 637 bonuses having been won.
