Galileo sure to be a winner at the Inglis Classic Sale for Lomar Park Two stand outs in the 2006 draft are the Galileo pair in Lot 89 ex Molten Silver colt and Lot 162 ex Queen's Suite filly. Lot 89 is a well grown speedy type that is very forward and ready to take an early look at his racing career, this individual is out of a full sister to Ginzano who is a multiple stakes winner of five races including the STC Reisling Slipper Trial (G2). She is a full sister to the unraced Patronella the dam of stakes winners Smytzer’s Trish and Stella Artois the dam of SAJC Breeders’ Stakes (G2) and MRC Merson Cooper Stakes (LR) winner Freestyle. Ginzano is the dam of recent 2 year old winner Galen, who was the first Australian winner for his sire Galileo, Galen is now off to the Blue Diamond Stakes, this link makes him a brother in blood to our colt Lot 89.
Lot 162 is the exceptional filly out
of the winning Marauding mare in Queens's Suite. This filly has been
recently noted by leaders in this field to have the makings of topping the
sale. "This is Queen's Suite second foal, her first one has talent and is
named My Lady's Chamber
(Arena). It will win juvenile races and
will develop into a handy city horse. The Galileo blood is supreme and we
will see over the next few months just how good a sire of juveniles he will
be. With all that in mind, this filly is a must buy. She's related to that
prodigious Fred Peisah owned family that gave us Regal Chamber, Regal Cheer
(Arena), Razor Sharp, Moments Pleasure and
Robian Steel. Estimated spend to obtain this yearling -$150,000" as

The 'Super Elegant' Connection
Lot 78 in this years Classic Sale is represented by a spectacular colt who is out of a half sister to the mighty 'Super Elegant'. Not only does this make for a great buy but to add the recent performance of this colt's full brother of 7 starts for 4 wins, 2 seconds and 1 third at only his first race preparation only suggests this brown colt will be hot property. Esceegee the brother in question was purchased for $150k at the Gold Coast Magic Millions by Tony Vasil. |
